Virtual Festive Celebrations for Global Teams: Diwali, Holi and More
Many global teams celebrate festivals together online with us, live from our kitchen in Berlin. Here are five examples.
A Diwali celebration for a returning US client
Client: a team of a large US retailer that had booked us several times before.
For Diwali, we prepared the menu with a few team members in advance and hosted the celebration in their video call: cooking, dancing and Diwali lights with a view of the River Spree. One participant wrote: "Love your energy and it inspires me to make my cooking more fun!"
Diwali for 100 people and their partner companies
Client: a global consulting company in the US, celebrating Diwali with its partners.
The group of about 100 people made turmeric ginger ale and sweet lassi, a traditional Indian drink. We adapted the plan to fit their budget and timing.
A virtual Holi celebration for several teams
Client: several teams of a global software company.
After a few planning calls, they chose a menu from our Instagram: spiced potato patties with coriander chutney and sweet lassi. We celebrated the festival of colours together with food, music and dance.
Nine events in one day across three time zones
Client: the global teams of a US technology company celebrating Team Member Appreciation Day, booked through a partner.
From 4:30 in the morning to 11 at night Berlin time, we hosted nine events in a row for hundreds of colleagues in three time zones, with cooking, spices and Bollywood dance breaks.
An autumn event for a 30-person US team
Client: a 30-person team of a US company, Eastern Time.
They wanted a 60-minute private event on a Friday afternoon. We found a slot that worked for their time zone and hosted a fun, fast-paced session online.
